The Birds were not gobbling and it made it extremely tough to find Toms. The Merriam's were leaving the roost and heading to the tops without making a sound. The game plan at this point with these New Mexico Merriam's was to head them off. It finally worked the last morning and Brian was able to harvest this mature Merriam Tom. Way to hang in there and good job!!!
